I am a lover of strawberries, have been since I was a little girl. Growing up my parents always had a large garden next to the house and at the very end were several rows of strawberries. I loved to pick the berries in that patch especially when they had been sitting in the sun ripening. I would pop those things in my mouth quickly, almost greedily. The berries warmed by the sun seemed to just explode then melt in my mouth. It was extremely satisfying. When I saw Briannas blush wine vinaigrette, the strawberry on the label, and the "delicious on fresh strawberries" printed above it drew me in. I knew I had to try it. At first I wasn't so sure I wanted to put it on strawberries but eventually I did. I made a light chicken salad with grilled chicken breast, mixed greens, crumbled feta, red onions thinly sliced, and quartered berries. I love this for its lightness and the dressing imparts a sweet yet tangy bite that is very complementary. I have made this salad again and again. Below is a picture of the salad minus the red onions because I did not have any that day. Eric also loves it. Tasty and satisfying, we feel good about eating it.
